In ancient Mesopotamia, the cedar tree was considered to be a symbol of love. It is believed they were some of the first people to burn cedarwood strictly for its aromatic properties. They also burned it in honour of their ancestors. In the epic of Gilgamesh, Noah burned cedarwood and myrtle to show gratitude to the heavens for sparing his life after the flood. Cedarwood was also used by the Egyptians for fumigation and embalming purposes, Cedarwood does not grow naturally in Egypt so this import was more valuable than gold to them.

I bought the golden facial oil and serenity roller blend. I keep the roller blend in my bag to use throughout the day whenever I need it. The golden facial oil has become a part of my daily routine especially at night after cleansing. I also use it a few times a week with a gua sha. I'm not really sure what I'm doing witht the gua sha but my skin feels super soft and nourished. I've only been using it for a couple of weeks and already I can see and feel the difference.
